The reason seems to be a scheduling conflict since Bayona wants to finish working <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt3416532\/\">A Monster Calls<\/a><\/em>, a film based a book by the same name. The book was released in 2011 and is an illustrated fantasy novel for children.<\/p>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t care less about WWZ2. I hated the first movie even though I may have to concede that it&#8217;s a very hard <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/World_War_Z\" target=\"_blank\">book<\/a> to adapt. I&#8217;m not sure people would have gone to see a feature film that looked like a Ken Burns documentary about zombies. I&#8217;m sure the sequel will have even less to do with the book so I&#8217;ll probably pass on that. But I am really excited about <em>A Monster Calls<\/em>, which I wasn&#8217;t even aware of before now.
