Brad Pitt was banned from visiting China back when 7 Years in Tibet, a movie based on the autobiographical 1953 book of the same name written by the main character, Heinrich Harrer, came out. Now though it appears that he is also banned from visiting China in cyber space. Pitt recently opened an account on Weibo, the Chinese social media platform, but less than a month after being verified it appears that it is gone.
Initial reports indicate that Heinrich Harrer himself is not banned from China as nobody actually finished reading the book…
